The United States is home for me. More specifically, Marin County in Northern California. For the past few months, we’ve been on the lookout for somewhere to go live for a year away from home. Marin is amazing and I often wonder why I want to do this, but I have a need to try something new. Just a little new, though. I keep liking places that I consider to be the Marin of another state. One of our main objectives is to find a place to live that is near to great hiking, just like we have at home. Most of the locations you’ll read about in this section of the blog will be places with good hiking and good food. And because I know anyone reading this may not be local, I’m including a few posts that would be considered traveling for you, but not for me.
