Finding gluten free, wheat free and dairy free food in the UK
We’ll be visiting the UK a few times a year so these pages will be updated or new posts will be added regularly.
Our first trip together to the UK is December 2023. We’re here to visit my boyfriend’s family and to celebrate my birthday. We start out in London where we find two of the most amazing gluten-free and dairy-free restaurants; Niche and Where the Pancakes Are. If you’re seeing this before I get the pages posted, check them out. I’ll explain why when I get the posts up on this site. Our next stop is to celebrate my birthday in St. Ives in Cornwall. I’ve dreamt of visiting Cornwall for 25 years since I read my first Rosamund Pilcher book. We’ve come for my birthday and we’ve found a perfect gluten-free bakery, BB’s Bakery, to pre-order birthday cupcakes. Last stop for this trip is to the Cotswolds where we stay at an inn that specializes in gluten-free and dairy-free dining called The Amberley Inn.
More posts about the UK are coming soon so please check back.

So, I do some research and find the most amazing places for a girl who doesn’t eat wheat or dairy to dine comfortably. Besides being safe…

It’s time to leave London, rent a car, and drive a few hours south west to Cornwall. A place I have dreamt of going for 25 years since I read my first Rosamund Pilcher book. We’ve booked a perfect flat on the top floor of a building with views of the St. Ives harbor, the…
